Eccleston (PR7) Lesson Fees
FEES These will be increasing from 1/9/23 All fees are for 30 minute lessons: Lesson fees from 1st September 2023: online (eg Zoom, Skype or FaceTime): £17.50 Bradley Lane, Eccleston £17.50 up to 3.30pm weekdays. £18.50 from 3.30pm onwards & Saturdays. Other lesson lengths [eg 40 minutes] by negotiation. Exam Fees Exam fees are set by the various exam bodies and not myself. I do not charge extra for exam preparation. Exam fees (whether for theory, piano or keyboard exams) are payable by the candidate (pupil/parent) to the applicant (normally the teacher). Pupils are referred to as 'candidates'. If a teacher has 5 candidates (pupils), it makes admin easier (and cheaper) for the exam board if it receives just one online payment from that teacher instead of 5 separate payments. This keeps exam fees down a bit, which is good news for everyone! If theory is studied in addition to practical, I do not usually charge extra. My policy is to charge for time. If more time is required [eg for marking work], only then do I charge extra which may be the case with preparatory work required for sitting grade 5 theory. |
